The Visit Behind the Destination

The observation wheel opened in 2000 and rises 135 metres above London. Its enclosed-pod experience and the separately advertised London Eye River Cruise are different products, so check which booking your party actually holds.

Choose the Correct Arrival and Return

A wheel booking has its own arrival instructions; a river-cruise ticket needs the correct boarding arrangements. Keep those instructions beside the taxi request rather than treating every London Eye experience as the same entrance.

Turning the Visit Into a Taxi Enquiry

For a London Eye taxi or minicab enquiry, keep the attraction booking and the road journey together: give the date, party size and any entrance instructions supplied by the venue. An admission slot is the time you need to reach the attraction, so discuss the proposed departure with the operator after allowing for the final walk and entry procedure.

For the return cab, use a time when everyone expects to be outside and ready rather than the moment the last activity ends. Explain luggage, pushchairs or mobility requirements before asking the operator to confirm a vehicle and meeting point.

Local Taxi & Minicab Questions

Do London Eye and River-cruise Tickets Identify the Same Arrival Point?

No. Check the instructions for the particular experience and tell the operator whether you are joining the wheel or a boat trip.

Is the Wheel's London Eye Booking the Same As SEA LIFE Admission?

They are different attractions, even when sold together in a combined package. Check the venue and arrival instructions for the particular leg before asking for a car; do not assume the pass name identifies the next entrance.

Should a Cab Return Be Set for the Wheel's Boarding Slot?

The slot is an arrival reference for the attraction. Plan the return after the experience and the walk to the agreed road meeting point, allowing for any meal or further South Bank sightseeing.
