Leyton: Football, Local Streets and Open Space

Leyton is more than a Central line station. Leyton Orient’s ground at Brisbane Road, the independent businesses along Francis Road and the open space of Leyton Jubilee Park create different reasons to visit this part of Waltham Forest. A football supporter, a family visiting the park and a diner on Francis Road will need different cab collection details, even if each begins an enquiry with the same area name.

Planning a Cab Around a Leyton Orient Match

Leyton Orient publishes Brisbane Road, E10 5NF, as the ground address and identifies Leyton on the Central line as the nearest Underground station. The club also warns that there is no public parking at the ground and that nearby parking is limited. That does not establish a roadside taxi meeting point: agree a permitted location and follow the event’s current instructions.

The club’s travel page describes station improvement work running from April 2025 to spring 2027, with possible queue management during busy periods. Treat this as a reason to check current TfL and club guidance before a match, not as a fixed journey-time allowance or a promise that new lifts are already available.

A Park or Francis Road Minicab Collection

For a park visit, choose the entrance you intend to return to. Waltham Forest lists Seymour Road, Marsh Lane, Orient Way and Ive Farm Lane entrances for Leyton Jubilee Park, whose visitor features include a woodland walk, play areas and sports facilities. Give the chosen entrance rather than an internal playground or sports pitch as your car reference.

For Francis Road dining or shopping, name the actual business and building number. If your return journey begins somewhere different after the meal or outing, update the address before an operator plans the vehicle route.

Leyton Airport-transfer Enquiries

For an airport taxi or minicab enquiry, combine the exact Leyton address with the airport and terminal, London-time pickup, passenger count and luggage. Mention if the outward journey follows a match or park visit so readiness is discussed realistically. The operator must confirm its coverage, price, meeting instructions and vehicle suitability; this guide does not promise availability or a fixed travel time.

Local Taxi & Minicab Questions

Which Address Should I Give for Leyton Orient?

The club publishes Brisbane Road, London E10 5NF. Confirm the event entrance and an appropriate car meeting plan separately; the stadium address is not permission to stop anywhere nearby.

Which Leyton Jubilee Park Entrance Should I Use for a Cab?

The council lists entrances on Seymour Road, Marsh Lane, Orient Way and Ive Farm Lane. Choose the one that matches your activity and agree a permitted road meeting place with the operator.

Can I Assume Leyton Station Improvement Work Is Finished?

No. The club travel page describes work through spring 2027 and possible busy-period queue controls. Check current TfL access and service information before choosing the station as your car connection.
